.January – A new year brings new experiences, new choices, new encounters, new challenges.
Some of them may seem obvious and others can be quite scary. Remember, you are resourceful
and strong. You'll know what to do.
February – You missed him last year. You're missing him this year. And if part of you still
misses him next year, it's okay. You loved him. And grief knows no clock.
You just need to give it time.
March – Everything that doesn't work out the way it's supposed to isn't always your fault.
Stop taking the blame for everything all the time. You are not responsible for all the bad
things that are happening in the world.
April – When everything gets all dark and cloudy around and inside you, when you're feeling
sad and blue, take a step back. Run yourself a bath, light up some candles, go for a walk by
the water, make yourself your favourite hot chocolate, look at the stars, watch your favourite
Disney movie – or all of them – get yourself a coloring book, listen to your favourite playlist.
My list is endless but only you know what's good for yourself. When you find it, enjoy this
time with yourself to the fullest. When you feel a bit better, take a pen and a piece of paper and
write down your successes, even the little ones. Even if you can only think of one, that one little
thing you are proud of, write it down. This little victory is yours and yours only. Hold onto it
on blue days, it's the very proof that everything doesn't always suck.
May – Every relationship teaches you something, especially the ones that don't work out.
